The Metaphor Collective
Gathering some art fanatics on a not-very warm or cold day is not a noble tradition. But if this assemblage results in conceiving ideas, it is desirable.
We believe whatever is happening around us is a metaphor. Human beings are creators of metaphors who drown in them. Likewise, art is always in debate with metaphor and truth.
The Metaphor collective was born to develop new routes. It consists of several empiricist world citizens who are into images and sweat to take photos. In other words, photography is their joint action as an origin. However, it doesn’t mean that the Metaphor collective focuses on photography as the only medium and the social documentary as the sole approach.
It is considered a universality in confronting contemporary art and idea in post-media conditions with no mediums specificity. Therefore, Metaphore acts in an interdisciplinary and process-oriented workflow to reach its natural, cultural and social mindsets.
